Cowan Home Care Philosophy
Cowan Clinic d/b/a Cowan Home Care has had the privilege of serving the medically fragile children’s community (MF Waiver & EPSDT Program) since 1992. It has been our goal to serve families with the best care, in a conscientious manner, and to help reduce the enormous and relentless responsibilities the families face.
We endeavor to build and maintain a team of skilled and caring nurses based upon our collective desire to serve children & their families. We are committed to striving toward quality in service, fulfilling long term relationships where possible, and providing a tangible support network to families, not limited to merely staffing arrangements.
Cowan Clinic has served New Mexicans since 1989. We go the extra mile in trying to serve our clients with services, tools, and support which are appropriate and compatible with each individual’s circumstances, needs and predispositions.
Despite the obstacles and difficulties the nursing profession in particular and healthcare field in general, faces, we find our role rewarding and gratifying. As a small, local company, we enjoy a high degree of flexibility in creatively exploring how best to meet our client’s needs. We hope that, despite obstacles and national trends, small companies like ours, who do provide a high quality of service, will continue to participate in our community’s healthcare needs.

- Cowan provides medically licensed home care to children that are medically fragile
- NM Care Provider Registry screens and registers Care Providers, as independent business owners, so that they may receive high quality client referral opportunities
- Signature refers contract nurse staffing to local hospitals and other healthcare facilities
